Are You?

In search of hope.

“  We are a nonprofit organization that not only focuses on preventing physical and mental illness,

but we also provide tips to improve health overall.

Among other topics, we offer courses on issues related to basic legal understanding.

Thus enabling you to understand your rights and the significant differences between civil rights and Civil liberties.

It is imperative to know how the absence of either of your rights could tremendously affect your lifestyle and trickle down to your state of mind.”

Without any doubt, a healthier brain is an educated Mind.

Fact Check:

                       Did you know?

Your civil rights are not in your Bill of Rights, but your civil liberties are listed in the Bill of Rights.

The Power of Education

Education is a potent tool that helps us build resilience, reduce crime, and promote a safer community.

IMG_3030_edited.jpg

I started this organization to give people a chance to realize their potential and to help them achieve higher living standards. Through my experiences, education, and achievements, I have found that anyone with the proper guidance and consistency will be an achiever. Here, in Search of Hope, we are a non-profit organization founded on the idea that without hope, you have no vision to look forward to and no aspiration to be successful, but overall, you have to believe you can.

Let me show you how!

Library Bookshelves

In Search Of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people thrive through the power of literature and education. By encouraging reading topics of interest, we also inspire intellectual growth. We know by now that knowledge is power that empowers people, giving them the gift of hope that access a world of possibilities. As a result, we are promoting a mental workout to slow the process of mental decline. Consequently, providing information and literacy creates a foundation for a better existence. Subsequently, the goal is to provide individuals with the tools they need to live a more meaningful, prosperous, and fulfilling life.

If I Could Change One Thing, What Would it be?

The Inequity

Within our Society, the lack of social integration, acceptance, and tolerance of those individuals who happen to be perfect in their unique way.

We all come in different packaging and have a set of values based on our backgrounds, upbringing, races, colors, ethnicity, faith, etc.

I would predominantly focus on this population, which majority constitutes the Native Indianselders, veterans, people with disabilities, immigrants, and felons; they experience a different type of discrimination, feel abandoned, and have a hard time finding a sense of security without a place where they feel accepted.

Veterans typically struggle with a sense of purpose after getting discharged from the military, and felons, cannot redeem themselves after being released from prison, specifically, anyone who has dishonorable discharges or convictions on their records.

Consequently, they are twice likely to continue getting discriminated against again and again.

In Search Of Hope is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote equity, social integration, and diversity. Our mission is to provide a platform for historically overlooked and undervalued people. We strive to create a more equitable and inclusive world through our initiatives.

In Search Of Hope, our mission is to eliminate inequity through literacy and awareness, creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to pursue their dreams. We foster social integration and diversity through research and education. We are committed to promoting social justice and diversity in our community, assisting those in need, and advocating for those less fortunate.

Executive Director

We are a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers passionate about making a difference. Our work is focused on offering programs and services that empower those in marginalized communities. We invite you to join us in the mission to make the world a better place.

Let's elaborate a bit more on this topic of injustice:

What is the Cause: Social Rejection among felons

This population subsequently becomes socially locked out once again from reentering the community, even after paying their debt to society.

Subsequently, trying to find a job is not only highly challenging but demoralizing, so earning a living with dignity is nearly impossible, leading to anxiety and severe depression, causing them to re-offend again.

What are the long-term consequences or effects: Recidivism
Unfortunately, this is today's reality, and anyone with a felony cannot become part of a productive workforce with chances to advance.

Hindering their process of getting rehabilitated. Instead, it promotes a vicious cycle of recidivism due to desperation and pressure to survive in a different world where they are no longer inmates who rely on a militarized system where they are constantly told what to do.
Cure or Possible Solutions:

Education, Awareness, and Literacy!
Education and awareness programs are compelling ways to deal with such challenges. Encouraging different perspectives in a role-play environment in an open and monitored setting allows the client to experience a role reversal.

Educating clients on how stereotypes and social categorization influence attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions.

We are teaching our clients to recognize discrimination, segregation, and isolation.

But mainly how to apply proper intervention strategies to stop and prevent social bullying.

Do you feel like you are drowning?

“ When we are in an ocean of problems, drowning in fear, we find ourselves dealing with a storm of emotions.

We quickly begin to get spiritually exhausted, desperate by the minute as we struggle to keep afloat, slowly sinking, reaching out for hope as we find ourselves deeply lost and often without support with no one by our side.

If this describes how you feel, take a moment to realize that you are not the only one.

We all need that strong helping hand that you will only find in your search of hope. Org.

Our mission is to pull you out of that state of mind and provide you with the guidance, tools, and advice to help you reach the peaceful shore of consistent support.

The lifeline is just a reach away. In search of hope, we promise to be your last resort; find us on the web or reach us by phone; you are not alone.”

Let us help you.”

Signs of possible Anxiety that could
lead to Depression

Every so often, we try to find ways to cope with what is emotionally hurting us, for example:

Being highly productive and efficient due to the fear of failure or to keep our minds busy from what is happening in the background of our self-consciousness.

We isolate ourselves from everyone, especially our loved ones.

We procrastinate and typically struggle to initiate or continue with or daily tasks, having a hard time focusing on what is important.

Excessive perfectionism or overthinking due to fear of failure.

We constantly avoid certain things because we fear getting anxious or overwhelmed.

We even self-medicate, using substances like alcohol or other drugs to help us numb those feelings, especially in stressful situations.

Likewise, we abruptly leave a social situation due to being overwhelmed and suddenly having a panic attack caused by anxiety.
